First of all, thank God for everything that He has given us. He always brings good things to us, which we never think about. This is really grace upon grace.
From a small girl not knowing what a future might be, but by God’s guidance I came to study by staying at Samoeng Dormitory. In this dormitory I had learned many things, such as spirituality, living in a society, knowing how to help others, knowing how to share. The important thing was to have friends from many places.
Although time has passed by, but Rev.Wanchai and aunt Buakom’s teachings can always be applied for daily life. I would like to say thanks to Rev. Wanchai. In addition, I will keep a good memory of aunt Buakom even though she had passed away. I believe that every girl who has experienced her life will keep her in their memories for her good example.
I received a bachelor of nursing from Payap University. |

First of all, thank God for His guidance and good plans for our lives. Sometimes, we do not know what God’s plans are. However, God always gives best things for His children.
For me, I really thank God for leading me to stay at Samoeng Dormitory for 8 years. During those years, I had learned many things, such as spirituality, society, living with others, helping one another. Rev. Wanchai and his wife (aunt Buakom) took care of me and others as if we were their children.
After finishing my high school, I moved to further study at Prince of Songkla University in Songkla Province. I am now working at Montfort College Alumni Association. |

God has good plans for everyone; He also has good plans for me. God led me to stay at the dormitory operated by Rev. Wanchai. It was good thing during that time. Staying at that dormitory was not an accident, but a plan that God wanted me to know Him through Rev. Wanchai’s family. In this dormitory I was taught to know God, to have fellowship with others, to learn to forgive, to learn to study with joy, to have an order and so on. But knowing God was the most important thing; that was God’s excellent plan.
After leaving that dormitory, God led me to know a Korean family. I knew God more and more. One day I decided to accept Christ into my life and God gave me His clear promise from 1 John 1:9. I thanked God that I’m His child. In this world, everything seems to be important, but the most important thing for life is to know God and become His child. I really thank God.

I came from a village called Ban Doolaper, which is in Huayhom Sub-District, Maelanoy District, Mahongsorn Province. I moved to Samoeng Chruch’s Dormitory in 1988. I began my 1st grade when I was ten years old because there was no school in my village. In this dormitory I was well taken care of by Pastor Wanchai. He taught me Thai language and many subjects and helped me to read and write Thai alphabets. I was also taught about the Bible. As a result, I believed in God and was baptized in 1993. After finishing my 12th grade, I went to study at Bangkok Baptist Theological Seminary and received a Bachelor of Theology. Now I am serving the Lord at Bangna Baptist Church. I have never thought that I would serve the Lord in Bangkok because I am a Sakor Karen; I have to speak Thai to Thai people in Bangkok. This is really a grace of God that I was taught Thai language when I was in Samoeng Church’s Dormitory by God’s servant. Thank God.

First of all, I would like to thank God for His good plans for my life. He had given me an opportunity to study as my friends had. When I was 7 years old, I came to Samoeng Church’s Dormitory operated by Pastor Wanchai. I sensed God’s love here. I was taught in many important subjects. I received the Word of God; it taught and warned me. When I grew up and lived in a bigger society I never turn back from God’s way. God loves me. I also love and fear Him. It made me to know God more and more. I decided to study the Word of God at Bangkok Institute of Theology and received a Bachelor of Theology. Now I am serving the Lord at Borgaew Church.
