wanchai02.jpgRev. Wanchai received his Master of Pastoral Ministry from The Good Shepherd Institute, Chonburi. Before serving the Lord, he used to be a Buddhist and a Thumayut monk. Regarding his works, he used to work at Irrigation Department, Pakgred, Nonthaburi because of his past study on construction. After leaving this Department, he went to work with Krungthon Engineering and began to work by building bridges in Prae Province in 1969.

After one year, he moved to work at Wang Hnia District, Lampang Province. He met his wife here. After reading a book about God, he decided to accept God into his heart by praying according to a guided prayer in that book. After that the rest of the family accepted God into their hearts too. Some years later, there were some believers from Wieng Papao District, Chiang Rai Province, who came to visit and persuaded him to build a camp at Dong Praporn. After finished building that camp, he brought a 420 sq. meters land together with a house at Wieng Prapao District: It cost 6,000 Baht. That house was known as “A ghost-possessed house.” However, his family was never haunted by them.

Buakom, his first wife, died of a stomach cancer on April 28th, 2005. Although he prayed to God for her healing, she died anyway. Maybe it was time for her to rest. After that he married Pensri, a worker at Tharpraporn Chiang Mai Church, Doisaket. After marriage, she moved to serve the Lord with him at Samoeng Church.
